Omniture (OMTR) allows clients to optimize their online business assets.
Products include Web Analytics, onsite and offsite Testing and Targeting,
and tools to manage Search Marketing. I work as the VP of Engineering for
the Testing and Targeting division (formerly Offermatica). Test and Target in 2008:
- Double revenue in first year after acquisition.
- 3-4 Billion requests a week (same architecture now does 25 Billion requests a week).
- 12 requests served in 150ms anywhere in the US (as measured from 12 US cities by Alertsite).
- Cost of 0.13c per thousand mbox requests.
- Distributed team with members in San Francisco, Minnesota, London and Moldova.
